Butternut Fritters made with Truvia For Baking Brown
TruviaThese fritters are the perfect balance between sweet and savoury. Mixed with Truvia For Baking Brown Sweetener and dusted with Truvia For Baking Icing Sweetener, it just gets better with every bite. A perfect side dish for any meal.

500g Steamed butternut, well drained
2 Eggs
60g Cake flour
1 tsp Baking powder
Pinch of salt to taste
Coconut oil, to fry
1 tsp Cinnamon
Directions

Mash the cooled, steamed butternut.
- 2.
Beat the eggs before adding to the mashed butternut.
- 3.
Sieve in the cake flour, Truvia For Baking Brown Sweetener, baking powder and salt.
- 4.
Pour some coconut oil into a pan. When it starts to sizzle, drop in tablespoons of batter, making sure that they are nicely spaced apart, and fry each side until lightly browned.
- 5.
Remove the fritters from the pan and drain on a paper towel.
* Serving Suggestion - Dust Truvia For Baking Icing Sweetener and ground cinnamon over your warm fritters.
* Alternative for Butternut - Pumpkin or sweet potato can be used instead of butternut in this recipe.
